Our popular fun and phonics class is being re-launched on popular demand! The Phonics program is only for 5 and 6 year olds (UKG / PP2)
What is Phonics? Phonemic awareness is the understanding of, and the ability to manipulate, the smallest units of sound that make up spoken words. While phonemic awareness is not necessary for understanding and speaking the language, research has shown that it is critical to reading success. It has been shown to be an important factor that distinguishes successful from disabled readers.
About the program: The basic purpose of building a good foundation in phonics is to help the children hear and understand the sounds from which words are made. This understanding of sound / symbol correspondence and knowledge of sound relationships that make up the spoken language lays the foundation for the transition to written language. Once the children have learned to think about words in terms of their component sounds, reading and spelling become easier.
Methodology: The Phonics @ Kaleidoscope program consists of quick game like activities and provides the children with easy practice in discriminating the sound that make up words. The major categories of activities are Symbol and Sound association, Sight word recognition, oral blending reading exercises and story based activities.
Duration and schedule: This is a 7-week program from Nov 4th to Dec 18th. The classes will be on Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
Fee: Rs 1800

Using NLP-K you can

Workshop on problem solving and decision making
In an ever changing world, the ability to make wise choices and decisions ranks high in importance, due to the complexity of experiences our young minds are exposed to. Their world is one of contradictions and apparent opposites… difference in values between the home and the outside world can cloud impressionable minds; clarity may fade away.
The workshop ”Tic-Tac-Toe” brings structure into the decision making process and enables children to have a tool to think clearly and choose well thought out options, rather than follow a trial and error method.
The workshop, based on the 6 Thinking Hats of Edward de Bono andMind maps of Tony Buzan, offers an exposure to the tools, with hands on practice. The sessions are spread over 3 days and conducted in informal activity style. Ample opportunities for interaction and self expression will be provided.
In the workshop children:
- Understand the tools at a basic level
- Practice exercises in using the tools
- Work out real life situations using the tools
- Apply what they have learnt in their daily life
- Work in teams and respect other points of view
- Become able to confidently express themselves.

NLP-K is a powerful technique to work with your mind, body and emotions to achieve any goals you might have.
Kaleidoscope is an authorized NLP-K center - which means you can not only learn the techniques, but also receive support in practicing it, or applying it in your life in the long run.
The program has created 45 NLP-K practitioners this year in Hyderabad, many of whom swear by the impact it’s made on thier lives. The Kaleidoscope team itself uses the techniques regularly. Using NLP-K we have been able to
- Correctly identify the root causes of complicated and interrelated problems;
- Generate solutions to professional and personal issues using a process approach (rather than the content based / “analysis of past” approaches of psychotherapy and some spiritual practices)
- Create practical and holistic implementation plans for solutions we generated; achieve desired results quickly.
What some of our other practitioners are saying:

“I find it a good and effective tool to solve any problem I have. …I now have the power to create what I want.”
Suparna Kapoor

“NLP-K tools are very very helpful. They have made me much more positive and made me beleive in myself … I am much stronger and self assured”
Sharvari Dhobale
Experience new results when your conscious and unconscious mind, emotions and body are in alignment with each other! The next NLP-K workshop is on Nov 1 and 2, 2008.

The 12 step study groups are one of the most powerful and popular spiritual support groups worldwide. Most members have found the structure of 12 Steps very uplifting in their spiritual path and endeavours.
Most 12 step study groups are towards handling of an addiction such as Alcoholism, Smoking, Gambling, Narcotics etc, members also take up anger, resentment, judgement and other traits that they are unable to get over also as addictions. The same process can be applied to them as well.
12 step study groups have no political or organizational policies. There is no religious tie up and nor is there any affiliation to any person or group or teacher. There is no hierarchy, power or money that is collected or distributed. All are equal and each member takes turn to chair a meeting on choice or rotation basis.
The express purpose is only to work on obstacles one experiences on one’s spiritual path and to support his/her fellow human travelers on the same path.
